About Judith Cork
Judith Cork BA (Hons) MBA DipM MCIM FCII registered user of MBTI, started her portfolio career in 2002 bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her new roles from her time as an Executive in a blue chip financial services company.
As Head of Savings and Head of Customer Insights and Segment Development at HBOS Plc she focused on successful customer driven strategies and employee engagement to improve strategic implementation.
She researched key life events and triggers, including retirement, and implemented a number of successful initiatives targeting the older customer.
Judith set up her marketing strategy consultancy in 2002 and continued to pursue her interest in the opportunities from the ageing population along with other initiatives.
She extended her executive experience into non executive roles as a non executive director (NED) at the Barnsley Building Society until the merger with the Yorkshire and more recently as a NED of Congregational and General Plc.
She is linked with four local universities in a variety of roles including teaching, marking and consultancy, particularly as an associate consultant of FEGReG at University of Huddersfield.
Judith trained as a social research interviewer for the National Centre for Social Research. She has been interviewed on BBC Radio and ITV on ageing issues and has regular articles published in the local and regional press as part of her anti-ageism campaign.
