About Judith Cork
Judith Cork BA (Hons) MBA DipM MCIM FCII registered user of MBTI, started her portfolio career in 2002 bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her clients from her time as an Executive in a blue chip financial services company.
As Head of Savings and Head of Customer Insights and Segment Development at HBOS Plc she focused on successful customer driven strategies and employee engagement to improve strategic implementation.
She researched key life events and triggers, including retirement, and implemented a number of successful initiatives targeting the older customer.
Judith set up her marketing strategy consultancy in 2002 and continues to pursue her interest in customer-focused financial services and opportunities from mid-later life events such as retirement and adult care.
Judith is an associate consultant of the Employers Network on Equality and Inclusion (ENEI) and is linked with two local universities in teaching and consultancy roles (eg as an associate consultant of FEGReG at University of Huddersfield Business School).
Her executive experience was further developed into non executive roles as a non executive director (NED) at the Barnsley Building Society until the merger with the Yorkshire and, until recently, as a NED of Congregational and General Plc.
Judith trained as a social research interviewer for the National Centre for Social Research. She has been interviewed on BBC Radio and ITV on ageing issues and has regular articles published in the media as part of her anti-ageism campaign.
