About Judith Cork
I am BA (Hons) MBA DipM MCIM FCII qualified and a registered user of MBTI. I started self-employment in 2002 to bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my clients from my time as an executive in a blue chip financial services company.
As Head of Savings and Head of Customer Insights and Segment Development at Halifax Plc I focused on successful customer driven strategies and employee engagement to improve strategic implementation.
I researched key life events and triggers, including retirement, and implemented a number of successful initiatives targeting the older customer.
I set up her marketing strategy consultancy in 2002 to pursue my interest in customer-focused financial services and opportunities from mid-later life events such as retirement. I have more recently extended my services to business ethics coaching and consulting providing clients with a valuable blend and balance of business ethics and marketing theory with solid practical experience.
I am an associate consultant of the Financial Ethics and Governance Research Group at the University of Huddersfield Business School where I taught the Masters module Corporate Governance and Business Ethics. I have also taught on the modules Foundations of Marketing and Marketing Research at the Bradford School of Management. I am an associate of the Employers Network on Equality and Inclusion (ENEI)
I was a non executive director (NED) at the Barnsley Building Society and Congregational and General Plc where I championed the FSA's Treating Customers Fairly initiative at Board level..
I trained as a social research interviewer for the National Centre for Social Research. I have been interviewed on BBC Radio and ITV on ageing issues and have regular articles published in the media as part of my anti-ageism campaign.
